What changes did IBP introduce to the meat packing industry?
IBP introduced slaughterhoses that fabricated cattle into smaller cuts. they shiped these smaller parts in sealed, wrapped boxes called boxed beef.doing this put alot of butchers out of buissness. because there are bones and meat scraps leftover when you fabricat the meatplants made dog food. also IBP added grinders to the plants, wich made hamburger meat. but most important they created a de-skilled workforce for the meatpacking companys.
